Regular visitor to the crooke. Never had a bad meal there in all the time I have been going. Good portions and good price

Excellent food, warm cosy welcome, great range of perfectly kept beers. Dog and child friendly. Wonderful beer garden right on the canal.
My pie was good but my partners cheese pie had been microwaved, was completely soggy and he could not eat it. When he very reluctantly told the staff they just offered him a free dessert. Really not good enough when he couldn't eat any of his meal.
